Visit Lauderdale

Dear Partners,

I hope this email finds you well and that your 2021 is looking bright.

It is an exciting and imperative time for our beautiful Greater Fort Lauderdale. This spring season brings spectacular weather and many sunseekers looking to satisfy their wanderlust. We’re happy you are eagerly joining us in giving a warm welcome to all who choose to visit our destination.

There is so much pent-up demand for travel, and our entire community and our wonderful partners like you, make Greater Fort Lauderdale a welcoming place for everyone under the sun. This is also the perfect time to launch our new brand campaign, and we have many efforts underway to promote our new brand, tagline and logo. Stay tuned.

Just like your team, our entire Visit Lauderdale team has been working tirelessly throughout the pandemic. Through the impact of tourism, we are strengthening the local economy and providing opportunities for people in our community. Our industry is resilient, and we are stronger than ever. We want you to be confident in knowing that we are here for you and support you.

We are undergoing some changes, but rest assured we have a very strong team in place that will continue to provide dynamic and seamless service. As many of you may already know, our Senior Vice President of Marketing & Communications Kara Franker will be leaving us this month. We are sad to see her go but are excited for her next adventure as she steps into her new role as CEO of Visit Estes Park in Colorado to be closer to family, enjoy the fresh mountain air and continue her career progression. We are proud that we played a role in fostering her talent and enthusiasm for the industry we all love. We wish her the absolute best and are appreciative of her vision and creativity during her time with us.

We look forward to continuing to promote Greater Fort Lauderdale and are very optimistic about the future for our destination and local tourism industry.

 Sincerely,

Stacy Ritter
